Looking for peace, charm, and zero lobby small talk? This tiny mom-and-pop motel nails it. The property wraps around a festive courtyard bursting with gorgeous plants like it's giving every guest a leafy hug. I've stayed at "boutique" places in fancy places with far less personality--this one has it in spades. Check-In (Ghost-Hosted Excellence): Contactless and effortless. A text shows up with your door code, you punch it in, and boom--you're home. No lines, no bell, no "let me find the manager." Just vibes, and good vibes at that. The Courtyard: Absolutely delightful. It's a botanical party out there--color, texture, and a level of plant health that made my houseplants feel judged. Morning coffee here feels like a mini-vacation. Rooms: Quaint, cozy, and packed with character. Not cookie-cutter; more "hand-written note." Everything felt thoughtful, not generic. And when I say "hand-written note," that is exactly what we found. There was a hand-written note on the desk welcoming us and hoping we enjoyed our stay. I challenge you to find that anywhere else. Noise Level: Whisper-quiet. You can actually hear your own thoughts--and they sound relaxed for once. Service (By phone): No manned office, but responsive when needed. It's hospitality by ninja: You don't see them, yet everything works. Pros: * Gorgeous, festive courtyard * Tons of room character * Seamless contactless check-in (door code by text) * Peaceful and quiet Cons (if we're being picky): * If you need a big lobby scene, you'll have to bring your own lobby Bottom Line: A cute, peaceful gem with real personality. Perfect for introverts, plant lovers, and anyone who prefers birdsong to background bass. I'd gladly stay here again.

I have stayed here several times and every time has been absolutely wonderful . Each night I have been able to sleep soundly.Each of my stays the room has been quiet and clean. The owners put so much care and thought into their business and I am grateful for a safe and quiet place to stay in Sterling. Thank you so much for providing a sanctuary after a long days work. Very pleased with our stay! It was a little bit of an odd check in as you don’t not see anyone. A room number and code to the door is texted to you after 3 PM but we were pleasantly surprised walking into our little cozy room complete with a couch, bar area, comfy bed and nice clean bathroom area! This is a no frills place with no coffee maker or extras..however I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to family and friends!

This was a charming little place with lots of character. Its an updated older motel off the beaten path. Clean, great shower, we will definitely stay here again.

The place is really well kept and nice, super clean, feels safe, good sized suite /room! The communication with the staff was easy too, they were attentive and nice. We loved the place sooo much with only one complaint: the bed. The bed was small for a couple and really uncomfortable. We were sinking on it, kinda going to one side, terrible for the back and uncomfortable. But other than that the room was spotless, bathroom and shower super nice as well. We also had two working air conditioners in our suite, so the temperature was perfect during our stay. The mini fridge actually cooled down pretty well - something that is hard to find in hotels! They always seem not to be working properly. Nice flowers in the yard and quiet neighbors. If the bed was comfortable it would be a place someone could stay long term.

We stayed in this lovely spot while traveling cross-country in early June. Contactless check-in was easy. The bed sheets were so soft and smooth that I kept wanting to pet them. We enjoyed the little patio and the cozy vintage accents. The location is within walking distance to a friendly brewery and other local businesses. The whole experience was a nice and unexpected surprise during our long road trip. If you enjoy staying in quaint accommodations you'll love this place.We certainly did.
